Eduroam Definition Eduroam is an initiative by TERENA that facilitates the mobility of European researchers and students by providing them with connectivity in their trips to other institutions that are connected to Géant. In this way, the users of the institutions that participate in Eduroam can access Internet from the networks of the other participating institutions. Users can log on to the network of the institution they are visiting (as long as it is part of Eduroam) in the same way as they log on at their own institution: the user name and the password are the same as those used at the home institution, and the only difference is the method by which the network is accessed. The Rovira i Virgili University is part of the Eduroam project, and provides access to its own users and the users of other institutions participating in Eduroam. Methods of access
